John and I enjoyed Ecuador very much. I have many fond memories. GALAPAGOS was my favorite part. I was satisfied with the 4 days we spent there and I was very happy to have seen so much of the county. The Estrella del Mar was a beautiful boat, the crew was perfectly professional and hosptiable, the guide was very knowledgeable and upbeat... .Quito City tour - great.....All in all, we enjoyed so much of our trip. I didn't mention the beautiful churches, our favorite is the first one we saw in Quito, (La Compania de Jesus Church ?). Ruben was a great guide, very knowledgeable and his love for Ecuador is contagious.

We got back into Portland, Maine last evening at 11pm after leaving Guayaquil at 9am. We had smooth sailing back home although the Miami airport and customs was a zoo. We had a truly memorable vacation. Everyone loved it and we loved spending time with our daughter Hallie who is still in Cuenca for 2 more weeks. I am still in awe of her spanish. Our time in the Amazon may have been the highlight of the trip but everything was fantastic. Quito was great as was our time in Cuenca. We bought lots of souvenirs. I spoke with Marcelo several times while in Ecuador. He was very attentive to our needs. Thanks for all your help Peter. Latin Frontiers and especially you and Marcelo are first rate.

Just wanted to give you some feedback on our trip...it was the best vacation we ever took!. Quito was terrific and both the Dan Carlton and Patio Andaluz were excellent. We climbed Cotopaxi to the shelter...one of the most challenging experiences of my life, and the canopy tour was unbelievable. The experience in Galapagos was beyond description and the Coral I is a great boat...I just want you to know that we are in love with Ecuador..the country is beautiful and the people are lovely. We are thinking of returning next year...this time we'll go to the Cloud Forest and Amazon Quito and Banos.

Our trip was extraordinary! It was like a dream – so many new experiences and places to see. People are still writing me to thank me for this trip. (That in spite of the departure issues and exorbitant costs some people paid to change their airline tickets.) I’ve received two additional thank you notes this week! The land tours were excellent. We did have trouble staying on schedule and unfortunately one bus missed the Inca ruins altogether. Perhaps we packed too much into one week – but I wouldn’t have wanted to do it any differently. : I am pleased and thankful that I selected Latin Frontiers for our Land portion. Though you had not responsibility for us at the end of the trip (when we had to depart a day late and from Guayaquil rather than Quito) you still took care of all the arrangements – transportation from Quito to Guayaquil, hotel and transfer to the airport. If I had one complaint it would be that Latin Frontiers is only operating in Ecuador! You run such a fine operation, I wish we could travel with you to other South American countries. Thank you for planning such a fabulous trip for CETUSA.
