Isabela is the biggest iosland in the archipelago, its land surface accounts for half of the archipelago´s total. It measures 132 km from north to south and 84 km at its greatest width. The island is composed of 6 main volcanoes: Sierra negra, Alcedo, Darwin, Wolf, Cerro azul and Ecuador. The equatorial line pass through both Ecaudor and Wolf volcanoes. All these volcanoes are considered very active.
The visitors sites are: Punta Albemarle, Elizabeth bay, Punta Garcia, Punta Moreno, Tagus Cove, Punta Tortuga, Urbina bay, Puerto Villamil.
