Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Upon your arrival to the capital of Ecuador, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your charming hotel in Quito, where you will receive your full itinerary and information about Ecuador and your trip.

Day 2 - Cotopaxi National Park

The adventure begins with a transfer to Cotopaxi National Park. You have the chance to bike down from the car park at 4500 meters. Then, you will bike on highlands of the Inca Ruins. Take a Jeep ride to Urbina You will stay overnight on the slopes of Chimborazo.

Day 3 - Avenue of Orchids - Baños

Take a short drive to Chimborazo Volcano, the highest volcano in Ecuador, for far reaching views. Ascend on foot until the first Refuge (5000 m). You will descend on bike through patchwork fields. You will then drive to Baños, gateway to the Amazon and famous for its hot springs. Overnight stay in a local hotel.

Day 4 - Amazon Rain Forest

Take a long bike ride from Baños to Punta Ahuano, through the famous “Avenue of Orchids”. You will stay overnight in the Jungle Lodge at the riverbank.

Day 5 - Amazon Rain Forest

A jungle hike accompanied by a Quechua Indian guide. He leads us through his rainforest home and shares his knowledge of the local flora and fauna.

Day 6 - Papallacta Hot Springs

Take a four-hour ride through a lush rainforest to Baeza at the base of the Andes. Drive up to Papallacta thermal baths for a well-earned soak in the top hot springs, Drive to the 4200 m Papallacta pass. Bike downhill to Tumbaco. Short drive back to Quito. Accommodation.

Day 7

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. ( B )
