Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1

Upon your arrival to the capital of Ecuador, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your charming hotel in Quito, where you will receive your full itinerary and information about Ecuador and your trip.

Day 2 - Quito City Tour

After breakfast, your will visit “Quito” the most beautiful and colonial city in South America declared by UNESCO part of the Cultural Heritage of mankind. Your visit starts in Ecuador’s House of Congress where you will appreciate its stone-carved facade depicting scenes from Ecuadorian history. Explore the Independence square, with the presidential palace, the city hall, the Sagrario church and the Cathedral. Visit San Francisco church and museum-monastery (1535), San Agustin monastery and the finest example of baroque art in America, La Compañía church (1605) and its breathtaking gilded altars. Visit the art & crafts gallery of Tianguez and finally, drive up to the Panecillo hill to have a spectacular view of Quito and to see the only winged Virgin in South America.

After visiting the Colonial center of Quito you will arrive to the Middle of the World Monument and Museum, which is located 25 km north of Ecuador’s capital. There you will find the monument on the exact equatorial line marking latitude 0° 0´0”, where you will have the opportunity to stand in both hemispheres, and take a picture of yourself jumping from one hemisphere to another, and you can also visit the ethnographic museum on site. Day 3 - Cloud Forest

Your adventure will starts driving north west of Quito near the Middle of the world where you will admire the Pululahua´s crater with its patchwork fields on the crater floor. After this point and just two hours down the road you will admire the change of the vegetation and you will arrive to the Cloud Forest where clouds and trees blend in a tapestry of mystery and magic, home to hundred of species of plants, birds and other animals.
After Lunch you will take a hike into the forest and discover the incredible variety of moths and admire the diversity of this natural sanctuary. Accommodation (B-L-D)

Day 4 - Cloud Forest

After breakfast you will continue discovering the Cloud Forest with your naturalistic guide or you can explore further on your own and admire the exuberant vegetation of the cloud forest, its bird life, and the fascinating adaptations to life in this special environment.
After lunch, an afternoon hike to Discovery Falls is recommended, and in the evening it is possible to see night birds and more. Accommodation (B-L-D)

Day 5 - Esmeraldas Beach

An early morning bird hike is recommended to discover more about the colorful denizens of the forest. After breakfast you will have the chance for an adventurous hike to a waterfall hidden deep in the forest.
After Lunch you will continue your adventure to the Pacific Coast of Ecuador. Accommodation (B-L)

Day 6 - Esmeraldas Beach

This day you will relax in one of the best resorts in Ecuador and you can enjoy the cool water of the Pacific Ocean. Relax under the tropical sun surrounded by palm trees and tropical gardens, or practice your favorite sport like golf or tennis.
Here you will find an exclusive atmosphere accompanied by impressive Mediterranean architecture in a natural habitat by the sea. Accommodation (B)

Day 7

After breakfast we drive back to Quito. Accommodation (B)

Day 8

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. (B)
