Today you will visit the historical center of Lima; a UNESCO world heritage site. You will start at the Plaza de Armas with visiting the cathedral and the Archbishop’s Palace. Then, you will explore the Santo San Francisco Monastery: one of Lima’s most famous religious sites, being the oldest church in the city with interesting relics and where the first university of South America was founded.
You can enjoy a panoramic view of the city from its tower. Afterwards you will wander around the old colonial streets and the modern district of San Isidro and Miraflores.
Accommodation: Hotel Casa Andina Select Lima (Breakfast)
In the morning you will fly to the beautiful city of Cusco, which has both colonial and Inca influences. It is a city with a lot of history, arts and folklore.
You will visit to the Q’oricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the cathedral. Then you will go to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman (where the Inti Raymi Sun Fest takes place) and the nearby Inca Ruins of Cusco.
At night you can wander around the city with its nice restaurants and great artisanal products.
Accommodation: Hotel Novotel (Breakfast)
Today you will visit the famous Machu Picchu Inca ruins. Early in the morning you will travel from Cusco to the village Aguas Calientes by train. Apart from hiking, this is the only way to reach Machu Picchu. On the way you can enjoy beautiful landscapes and traditional entertainment.
Upon arrival will go up the mountain, to the breathtaking Inca ruins. These ruins are divided into three districts and were intricately built using impressive, ancient techniques. You can take the time you need to internalize the ruin´s atmosphere and its breathtaking environment. A delicious lunch will be served from a restaurant with view on the Inca ruins. In the late afternoon you will return to Cusco.

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be brought to the airport of Cusco for your flight back home. (Breakfast)
